This statement was delivered by President Jokowi when departing to Turkey, to attend the G20 Summit in Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, East Jakarta, Saturday (11/14/2015).
"I have conveyed my deepest condolences for the victims of terrorism and violence in Paris, as also for the government and the people of France," said the President.
Jokowi assessed that any terrorist acts are not justified in any kind of forms or reasons. He reaffirmed that there is no tolerance for terrorism.
"The government and Indonesia condemned the violence which occurred," said the President.
Therefore, Indonesian government urged all parties to strengthen the international cooperation in facing terrorism.
The terrorism act in Paris occurred Friday evening. In the series of attacks, shootings, hostage situation and bombings were suspected of happening in several points.
According to the information obtained from Reuters, the attack was masterminded by a group of militants, as the air strikes against the group of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Syria.
In the event, at least two explosions were heard near the French national stadium, Stade de France, where a friendly match between France vs. Germany was being held.
Aside from that, there were reports of shootings in downtown Paris, which ended in a hostage situation in a location where rock music were often performed.
